Collin Central Appraisal District 250 Eldorado Pkwy McKinney TX 75069 IMPORTANT: Due to passage of HB 2228 in 2017 and statutory changes to Sec. 41.44, Collin CAD anticipates mailing 2018 real property Notices of Appraised Value by mid-April. Additionally, business personal property Notices of Appraised Value will be mailed in groups, beginning the 2nd week of May. Please take notice that these new mailing dates will change the protest deadlines that you are typically accustom to in past years. // -- IMPORTANT: The deadline to file a protest is May 15, 2019 or 30 days after the delivery of the Notice of Appraised Value, whichever is later. Property owners and agents should start receiving real property Notices of Appraised Value, from Collin Central Appraisal District around April 15 th . Additionally, business personal property Notices of Appraised Value will be mailed in groups, beginning the 2 nd week of May. By entering your Collin Agent ID number you will be able to view all accounts that you are authorized to represent. Emailed protests are no longer accepted; you may only file electronically using the Mass Protest feature on the Collin CAD Agent Portal website. The Mass Protest feature allows you to input a list of properties, by Property ID, and state the reason for each properties' protest. ( Currently, there are only two protest reasons available; 1) Value over Market and 2) Value Unequal. ) A list of properties will be available for download after the current year's Appraisal Notices are processed and mailed. The downloadable list will contain properties you're authorized to represent, as well as any other properties you may have already protested in the current year. We recommend you use this list as a basis for your Mass Protest submission: you can add and remove properties from the list, then copy and paste your finalized list back into your Mass Protest submission. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the District once your submission has been processed. Upon processing, you may visit the Agent Portal again to see all each properties' protest status, hearing date(s), and other important information. Please be sure to complete and submit your Collin CAD Electronic Agent Protest Agreement prior to submitting your protests.
